LE LOGIS DES QUATRE PUITS

We welcome guests for Self-Catering Holidays in three excellent gîtes, for Bed and Breakfast, Weddings, Birthdays and other functions. Vegetarian meals are available on request.

The beautiful house is set in its own 85 acre estate of pasture and woodland of oak, chestnut and pine, and is bordered by a river, Le Palais. 

 

We have excellent amenities including a 12m x 6m salt water swimming pool, a games room with a table tennis table, a pool table and a playing field for football, badminton, croquet, cricket, boules etc. We have several bicycles for adults and children to borrow. The comfortable rooms and gîtes are equipped and furnished to a very high standard.

 

 

 

There is a wide range of activities in the area, including golf, horse riding, wine tasting, canoeing, hot air ballooning, go-carting, quad biking, swimming, jet-skiing and walking. Within 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes walk there is a beautiful lake with a sandy beach and a café bar.

We have a huge Mongolian Yurt which can seat up to 70 people for a meal, and is available for weddings, parties and other functions. You can book exclusive access to all our facilities with accommodation sleeping up to 40 people. We provide vegetarian catering, but guests are welcome to use non-vegetarian caterers if you wish. We can provide a list of recommended caterers.


 

The estate is situated between Bordeaux and Angoulème and is easily accessed from Bordeaux, Bergerac, La Rochelle or Limoges airports, or from train stations in Chalais, Bordeaux or Angoulème.

Since December 2009, the estate has been owned and run by Keith Robinson and John Botteley and our guests receive a very warm welcome. Keith speaks French, English, Spanish and some German. John speaks English and some French.
